How do I receive a Marriage License in Stowe, Vermont?
You may obtain a license from any Vermont town/city clerk and the cost is $80. The license is valid for 60 days from the date it is issued. During that time an authorized person must perform your wedding ceremony — otherwise, the license is void.

What if we plan an outdoor ceremony and it rains?
At Outbound Stowe, we always hold an appropriately sized backup space inside our property in case of inclement weather. The client will see the potential backup space, prior to the event confirmation, during the property tour. A weather call must be made the evening prior to ensure enough setup time for vendors and property staff.
Can food or beverage be brought in from the outside?
It is our policy that all beverages must be provided by the property for your events.
We do, however, allow outside food to be brought in by a licensed approved caterer. We have a recommended vendor list we will provide you with.
What is your peak season?
Memorial Day Weekend through October Leaf Peeping Season, and New Years Eve.
What is your off-peak season?
November – May, excluding New Years Eve and Memorial Day Weekend.
Do you have on-site parking?
Yes! Complimentary parking is available.
Where is the nearest airport and how do I get there?
Burlington International Airport Located 39 miles, and 50 minutes away from the property.
Airport Shuttles & Transportation are available upon request and organized through property, with a 3rd party for an additional fee.
Are your facilities accessible?
Yes, all our facilities are wheelchair accessible.
What is included in your starting rental fee?
Venue usage as outlined in your agreement with a specific start and stop times and date.
How many hours are included in our booking?
Your reservation includes five hours from start to finish. Additional hours may be reserved for an additional fee and we can stay open until Midnight.
What is your cancellation policy?
A $3,500 non-refundable deposit is required at the time of booking to secure all weddings A deposit schedule will follow Full payment of remaining balance is due the day prior to your event. Cancellation policy is set forth in contract agreements.
Do we need to purchase insurance?
All Vendors such as catering, photography etc.. all must show a certificate of insurance. And we do require Wedding Day insurance.

Is your venue and hotel pet friendly?
Yes, all Outbounds are dog-friendly!
For events and venues, all pets must be leashed at all times, inside or out.
For stays, Fido is invited to enjoy our dog-friendly resort in Stowe. Please let us know in advance and review our pet policy for details. We allow up to two dogs at a $50 per night pet fee. No more than two dogs per room and a weight limit of 100 lbs each. Please note if you do not register them at the front desk, there is an additional fee. We also ask you not to leave your pet unattended in the room. We are not responsible for any damages to the room caused by your pet.
If you do plan to stay with your dog, we recommend to book the Pet Provisions package, to have your best friend enjoy some added benefits like locally sourced treats, a Pendleton dog bed, and more. This add-on can also be added on to any package or promotion during the check-out process.
