Guest check-in begins at 4:00 pm, and check-out is at 11:00 am. If you will be arriving early, you are certainly welcome to start enjoying our amenities while we hold your bags and get your room ready for you.

We do not offer roll-away beds or cribs. Occupancy for a room with a king bed is two people max, with two beds is four people max.

Cancellation policies vary based on the rate type that was booked. Please check your confirmation email for details. If booked without rate restrictions, cancellations made within 72 hours of the check-in time on your scheduled arrival date are subject to a penalty of 1-night room and tax.

Yes, all Outbounds are dog-friendly hotels!

Fido is invited to enjoy our dog-friendly resort in Stowe.  Please let us know in advance and review our pet policy for details. We allow up to two dogs at a $50 per night pet fee. No more than two dogs per room and a weight limit of 100 lbs each. Please note if you do not register them at the front desk, there is an additional fee. We also ask you not to leave your pet unattended in the room. We are not responsible for any damages to the room caused by your pet.

If you plan to stay with your dog, book the Pet Provisions package to have your best friend enjoy some added benefits during your stay, like local treats, a Pendleton dog bed, and more. This add-on can also be added on to any package or promotion during the check-out process.

Yes, it is a 10% fee of your nightly room rate. This fee includes guest parking, high-speed Wi-Fi, weekly events & programming, daily coffee & tea in the lobby, use of filtered water stations, and access to exclusive discounts from our curated list of adventure partners and local businesses.

In the summer we have swimming, lawn games and live music on property. In the surrounding area you have access to walking/bike paths, hundreds of miles of mountain bike trails, hiking, fishing, rock climbing, and more! Within a short drive of the lodge you can find indoor attractions such as StoweBowl, the Vermont Ski & Snowboard Museum, Ben & Jerry’s Factory and Scoop Shop. Or grab your umbrella and enjoy exploring and shopping your way through Stowe’s Historic Downtown.

Yes, our resort has high speed wifi and our lobby is the perfect place to work or study while staying with us. 

We welcome families and offer spacious family rooms, kid-friendly amenities, and easy access to outdoor activities for all ages.

We do not have laundry facilities on-site. However, the Stowe Laundry Co. is located 1 mile from the lodge and offers self service machines. 

Yes! Outbound Stowe is open in all seasons. Whether you’re hitting the slopes in winter or hiking, biking or hitting our pool in the summer, we’re here to host your next mountain escape.

We are located 7-miles from the ski resort. Hop on the free shuttle directly from Outbound to the ticket offices and lifts, 7-days-a-week, all winter long. 

If you do not have a car, other transportation options in town are limited. Stowe is a small town and unfortunately it can be very difficult to use car share services like Uber and Lift. The front desk does have a list of local taxi services and private drivers and we do recommend scheduling rides in advance if you have flights to catch or reservations.

Please contact the front desk during your stay to set up arrangements ahead of time, as some services require it and may not be available last minute.
