4th of July in Sedona

4th of July, Sedona Style

Skip the typical holiday routine and lean into the rhythm of the desert:

Start early and stay cool—sunrise hikes hit differently out here, with quieter trails, softer light, and views that feel earned before the day really begins. As the afternoon settles in, there’s no rush—just wander, explore, grab a drink somewhere with a view, and let the day unfold. And when night comes, you’ve got options: head out to nearby towns for fireworks or stay right where you are and take in Sedona’s signature show—wide-open skies and a blanket of stars.

What’s happening at Outbound

We don’t over-program the weekend—we just make it easy to find your thing:

  • Sunrise meetups + trail runs
  • Poolside hangs with music drifting in the background
  • Backyard BBQ energy (minus the effort)
  • Evening firepits + live music + stargazing + sparklers
  • Easy wellness sessions to reset and go again

Make it a Long Weekend
Four Days. No rush.

Day 1 — Arrive + Set the Tone
Roll in, drop your bags, and head straight to the pool. Ease into it with a drink, wander the property, and catch your first Sedona sunset without a plan.

Day 2 — Early Starts, Easy Afternoons
Up early for a hike while the trails are quiet and the air is still cool. Back by late morning, then it’s pool time, a long lunch, and doing as little (or as much) as you want.

No overthinking it.

Day 3 — The Fourth, Your Way
Head out for a local celebration or keep it close—BBQ energy, music, and a laid-back afternoon. When the sun goes down, decide in the moment: chase fireworks nearby or stay back for firepits and a sky full of stars.

Day 4 — One More Morning
Sleep in or sneak in one last adventure. Coffee on the patio, a final dip, and just enough time to wish you were staying another night.
