LA Skate Hunnies: Keep Her Wild Retreat

LA Skate Hunnies brought 25 women to Outbound Mammoth for Keep Her Wild, a four-day retreat built around getting outside, moving your body, and actually slowing down. Mornings started with yoga and breathwork in the lobby, days happened on the mountain with group ski workshops, and the nights ended at Bar Sierra. The hotel served as basecamp for the whole thing.

The Experience

The welcome mixer, morning yoga, and daily journaling sessions, were all hosted in the Outbound Mammoth lobby, which gave the group a home base to come back to between laps. After the morning sessions, attendees grabbed breakfast and headed straight up the hill to meet for ski workshops.

Afternoons went to recovery. Breathwork sessions paired with Hyperice gear helped legs bounce back after a day on the mountain. On the final night, the group took over Bar Sierra for a late-night dance party with a live DJ and private seating area, which is exactly how a ski retreat should end.
