Planning your Yosemite escape just got easier. Below you’ll find answers to the most common questions about our brand-new Outbound Yosemite property, opening June 2026. Consider this your quick guide to what to expect, what’s coming and how to make the most of your stay.

When does Outbound Yosemite open?

Outbound Yosemite opens June 2026. Reservations for rooms, cabins, groups, weddings, and events are available now.

How close are you to Yosemite National Park?

We’re about 25 minutes from the main gate. Close enough to reach the trail early, far enough for space, views and quiet.

Is Outbound Yosemite a renovation or a brand-new build?

This is a ground-up, brand-new property. Fresh design, new construction and every detail built for explorers.

What makes Outbound Yosemite different from other hotels nearby?

We’re not a roadside stopover. We’re your home base. Expect social outdoor spaces, thoughtful programming, local connections and an experience-driven stay that goes beyond the branded box hotels in the area.

Do you offer group blocks, retreats, weddings or events?

Yes. Our new event spaces and cabins are open for groups, weddings, corporate retreats and celebrations

Do you still have availability for 2026 and 2027 dates?

Yes. Contact our team and we’ll help you find the right dates, space and rooms for your event.

Can I set up early for my event?

Setup is allowed up to 2 hours before your event at no extra charge. Additional time can be added for a fee.

Do I need a wedding planner for ceremonies or receptions?

Yes. A licensed day-of or full-service planner is required to ensure vendors and our team can execute your day smoothly.

Do you allow outside food or alcohol for events?

Outbound Yosemite will offer curated food and beverage options. Outside food and alcohol are not permitted.

Is there a spa on property?

No spa here. Outbound Yosemite focuses on outdoor adventure and nature-forward relaxation.

Will there be a pool?

Yes. A brand-new pool opens with the hotel.

Do you have on-site dining?

Yes. Expect casual, fresh food and drink options designed for easy mornings, post-adventure afternoons and social evenings.

Is breakfast included?

Breakfast is not included with your stay, but breakfast options will be available at our on-site outlets, including grab-and-go items for early adventurers.

Do you offer parking?

Yes. Complimentary on-site parking is available for all hotel guests and visitors of our restaurant Juniper Crafter Pizza + Bar.

Are dogs allowed?

Yes. We welcome up to two well-behaved pups per room for a nightly fee. Dogs receive a bed, treats and easy access to outdoor walking areas.

Do you have accessible rooms?

Yes. Accessible room types will be available at opening, designed with comfort, space and thoughtful functionality.

Do you have Wi-Fi?

Yes. Complimentary Wi-Fi is available throughout the property.

Can you recommend things to do in the area?

Absolutely. Our team lives (quite literally) for local recommendations and can help you plan hikes, scenic drives, food stops, outfitters and more.

Do you offer guided experiences or partner activities?

We’re building a roster of local partners to help guests explore Yosemite like an insider. More details will be shared as we get closer to opening.

Are your outdoor spaces open to non-hotel guests?

Yes. Select programming, events and food-and-beverage offerings will be available to locals and visitors as well.

What’s happening with the Hounds Tooth Inn next door?

The Hounds Tooth Inn isn’t going anywhere. It’s currently closed during the Outbound Yosemite development and will reopen after its own future remodel. Those renovation details are still being planned and will be shared once confirmed.

Is there a resort fee?

Yes, there is a $30 +tax nightly resort fee per room.
